About Us

We are a Pilates studio located in Durbanville near Cape Town. If you are here, you either know what Pilates is and would like to start as soon as possible, or you heard somewhere that it is good for you and you would like to test the waters Either way, we are able to help you. Pilates is an exercise regime that was developed during the early twentieth century by Joseph Pilates. It contains a range of mat and equipment exercises with the focus on the core postural muscles to help keep the body balanced. These are essential to providing support for the spine.

New Clients

We require all new clients to do the “Lite Starter Pack”, even if you have done Pilates before. If you are someone who likes to learn a bit more before you join a class, we propose that you do the “Full Starter Pack”.

Lite Starter Pack – 2 private sessions of which one is a body assessment
Full Starter Pack – 4 private sessions of which one is a body assessment

What is a body assessment?

We like to know your medical history and have a thorough understanding of your posture and movement patterns before we start doing Pilates with you. It is just safer for us and for you and, after all, we want you to get the most out of your training.

I’ve done my starter pack, what happens now?
You can choose to continue with private sessions or join our group classes.
